The authors apply the scientific method to their inquiry by following each and every step of the scientific method. They followed it and gathered lots of information and previous experiments. They also created a hypothesis and then tested it with a very precise experiment. Once they had their results, and then created a conclusion that correctly answered their hypothesis. I thought that this experiment was extremely well thought out and in depth. A lot of the time i kept thinking there could have been a lot of errors or some things were not exactly fair but then the authors wrote about how errors could occur which made me relate more to them. After reading about this experiment, i have a lot more knowledge on context- dependent memory. With the results, i am able to relate a lot to it, learning in the same classroom everyday helps a lot which i have realized a lot more after reading this. I also got to see how a real paper looks like and how i am supposed to write one. I thought that the way it was written was pretty dull and it took me a really long time to read and fully understand the experiment just because it was such hard writing to follow along. I also thought that the results table was really hard to understand and i did not quite understand that but other than that it was really interesting.

I totally agree that this is tough article to read. I'm happy that you noticed that the authors included a detailed analysis of error in their report. I'm wondering if reading this article made you think about the process of "doing" psychological research. Is it what you expected? 9/10
